Residential Conveyancing – Remortgage

Our Fees

  • Legal fees: From £650 + VAT, plus disbursements.

Additional Fees

  • For leasehold properties or transactions requiring extra legal work, additional fees may apply. We will advise you as soon as the details are known.

Disbursements

Disbursements are third-party costs handled on your behalf, typically including:

  • Conveyancing searches: £100–£300 + VAT (depending on location). In some cases, an indemnity policy may be used instead of searches.

  • Office copy entries and title documents: from £3 per document

  • Bankruptcy search: £2 per name

  • Land Registry search: £3 per title

  • Land registration fees: dependent on the value of the re-mortgage. View current Land Registry fees

  • Notice of Charge fee (for leasehold properties): £75–£150 + VAT, depending on the lease. Exact amounts confirmed once documents are reviewed.
