Founded by Paul Linton in 1975, we provide legal and business support to both private clients and commercial organisations.

Our team meet daily to discuss cases in order to give clients a very high level of personal service and thoroughness.

We continually update our knowledge by attending professional development courses.

All members of the legal team since qualifying have specialised in Residential & Commercial Conveyancing, Wills & Probate, Lasting Power of Attorney, Leases, Lease Extensions. Business Contracts and Business Purchases. Between them they have many years of experience and have helped thousands of clients.

Meet the Team

Tanya Linton

Solicitor

 

Tanya is the firm's Managing Partner. After graduating in Archaeology at Liverpool University, Tanya gained her professional qualifications at the College of Law in London. Tanya qualified as a Solicitor in May 2007.

​

Following a period of time at a central London firm, where she gained valuable experience and expertise, Tanya joined her father Paul Linton to give the firm a real family feel.

Jeremy Ottman

Solicitor

​

Jeremy is a Partner at the firm.

​

Jeremy qualified as a Solicitor in 1984. After gaining valuable experience at a couple of different law firms, Jeremy set up his own successful law firm, specializing in residential and commercial property.

Peter Scholl

Consultant 

​

Peter was admitted as a Solicitor in 1982. He worked for a Lincoln’s Inn law practice and then a Holborn practice before becoming a partner in a Fleet Street practice. In 1992 he set up his own practice in Fitzrovia W1, moving to Jockeys Fields WC2 in 2005.

After closing his practice in 2019 he joined Paul Linton & Co. as a Consultant. His ethos is to try to find solutions and to resolve problems and that litigation should be a last resort. He believes that clients should enjoy working with their Solicitors and that Solicitors should enjoy working with their clients. He certainly does.

Kamila Kwiecien

Solicitor

​

After graduating with a Law Degree back in 2019, Kamila continued her studies at the University of Hertfordshire and completed her Masters in Legal Practice Degree in 2020. She joined Paul Linton & Co in 2020 and continued to gain valuable experience during her training contract. Kamila qualified as a Solicitor in May 2023.

Negin Shabestari

Paralegal

​

Having graduated with a Law Degree at Birkbeck School of Law, Negin is currently due to complete her LLM Legal Practice Degree in January 2024. Negin assists with the day to day tasks in the Property and Private Client departments where she gains valuable experience.
